The first stage calls for teamwork, time management, and smart resource use. Each group receives a box filled with carefully selected materials – pipes, wings, bearings, ropes, joints, and more. The challenge: design and build a working wind turbine within 60 minutes. Every material carries a virtual CO₂ cost, but only if it's used – so planning and efficiency truly matter.

Phase 2: The Digital Climate Challenge

Once the turbines are built, it’s time to dive into a dynamic tablet-based sustainability game. Teams earn CO₂ offset points by answering tough questions on renewable energy and sustainable practices – and by taking part in creative photo and video missions. Strategy, speed and collaboration lead to success.

Final Test – and a Real Sense of Achievement

Each team presents and tests its turbine with a battery-powered leaf blower. The winner? The team with the best-performing design and the lowest net carbon impact. The result: an exciting, educational finale that sticks with your team long after the event ends.
